Case Construction Equipment has recently completed a significant delivery of 125 units of construction equipment to the Ministry of Transport of Angola. This substantial order comes as a sign of the construction industry’s resurgence in many countries as the global impact of the pneumonia epidemic wanes. Angola, in particular, has been actively engaging in infrastructure development, and this equipment delivery is a testament to the growing construction activities in the region.

The order was secured through a tender won by Redondoy Garcia SA, a major partner of Case in Angola. The diverse fleet includes 35 backhoe loaders (570ST), which are versatile machines suitable for various digging and loading tasks. The 20 crawler excavators (CX220C) are designed to handle heavy-duty excavation work efficiently, while the 35 bulldozers (2050M) will be crucial for site clearing and earthmoving operations. Additionally, 35 electric graders (885B) are part of the order, ensuring precise grading for road construction and maintenance.
After the delivery, the aftermarket services will be provided by Case dealer Ivecar SA. This ensures that the equipment will receive proper maintenance and support, maximizing its lifespan and performance. Throughout the challenging period of the pandemic, Case Construction Equipment, a part of CNH Industrial, has been committed to supporting its global dealer network. This has enabled the company to maintain after-sales services, which is crucial for customer satisfaction. Currently, most of CNH Industrial’s 67 factories around the world have reopened, further facilitating production and delivery of equipment.
In Angola, infrastructure construction holds great importance. The country is one of the leading spenders on road projects in Africa. The Case machines will play a vital role in supporting the construction and upkeep of roads across Angola. This not only helps in improving the country’s transportation network but also contributes to its economic development by enhancing connectivity for businesses and communities.
