Warranty Policy

TONKEE MACHINERY CO.,LTD

We stand behind the quality and reliability of our products, offering a comprehensive 100% warranty for our hydraulic pumps, final drives, swing motors and main control valves.

1. Core Warranty Coverage

Our products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 1 year from the date of delivery. This warranty is transferable and applies to excavator components that become inoperable due to manufacturer defects.
  • First Year Warranty: If a product fails due to a manufacturing defect within the 12-month period, we will provide a free replacement unit upon receipt and inspection of the original defective product. The replacement will be shipped once we receive and verify the faulty item.
  • Post-1 Year Warranty (Prorated Credits): For product failures after the initial 1-year replacement period, we offer prorated credits toward the purchase of a replacement unit, based on the product’s service life:
    • 2nd year: 10% credit on the original purchase price
    • 3rd year: 7% credit on the original purchase price
    • After 3 years: 5% permanent discount on the original purchase price

This warranty remains valid for the operational life of the product and is transferable to subsequent owners of the original machine.

2. Warranty Voiding Conditions

The warranty will be immediately void if any of the following occur:
  • Misuse, abuse, or accidental damage (e.g., physical impact, improper handling)
  • Improper installation (e.g., incorrect hose connections)
  • Failure to perform routine maintenance or use recommended fluids
  • Use of incompatible or incorrect fluids for the product or machine
  • Unauthorized disassembly, modification, or repair of the product
  • We reserve the right to deny warranty claims if the returned product fails our inspection, at our sole discretion.

3. Critical Warranty Requirements & Maintenance Obligations

To maintain valid warranty coverage, you must comply with the following:
  1. Mandatory Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance, fluid changes, hydraulic system flushing, and case drain filter replacements as specified by the machine manufacturer. Warranty is void if the product’s internal fluid is contaminated (e.g., discolored, foul-smelling) due to lack of maintenance.
  2. No Unauthorized Modifications: Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the product yourself. The product must remain in its original factory condition.
  3. Proof of Purchase: Provide the original sales invoice as proof of purchase. Warranty claims will only be processed for purchases made directly from us, and the claimant’s name must match the invoice name.
  4. Transfer Documentation: When selling your machine, provide the new owner with a copy of the original sales invoice to facilitate warranty transfer.

4. Exclusions & Denied Warranty Claims

We will not honor warranty claims if:
  • The failure is caused by operator error, negligence, or non-manufacturing defects (e.g., cracked outer housing from field impact).
  • The failure results from installation errors, use of non-recommended fluids, or unauthorized modifications to the machine/product.
  • The product failure is due to lack of routine hydraulic system cleaning, debris in the system, or clogged case drain filters (caused by poor maintenance).

5. Limitation of Liability

  1. No Labor Coverage: We are not responsible for labor costs related to removal, installation, or replacement of warranty products. All associated labor and service costs are the customer’s responsibility.
  2. No Indirect Damages: We are not liable for indirect losses, including lost business income, rental fees, professional fees, or other incidental expenses arising from product failure.
  3. Personal Injury & Safety: We assume no liability for personal injury, death, or property damage caused by the product’s installation, operation, maintenance, or use. By purchasing our products, you release TONKEE MACHINERY CO.,LTD, its employees, suppliers, and owners from all related liability.
  4. Final Discretion: We reserve the right to deny any warranty claim if we determine the failure is not related to product workmanship, at our sole discretion.
